Blue Ridge, GA has been a tourist destination since its founding in 1886. The first railway came to Blue Ridge at this time and provided an easy path from Atlanta. Overnight Blue Ridge became a boomtown. People flocked to this region to enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool climate. The same wonderful experiences are true today! 

Since its humble beginnings, a variety of new adventures are offered now including trails, waterfalls, Lake Blue Ridge, horseback riding, tubing, white water rafting, breweries, wineries ,restaurants, shopping and a plethora of other attractions. There are over 106,000 acres of natural forest, 100 miles of rivers and 16 waterfalls within a short driving distance.

Dream Point is directly located on Lake Blue Ridge which consists of 3,290 acres, 60 miles of shoreline and is at an elevation of 1,672 above sea level. The best part, you have direct access, private dock and multiple water toys to enjoy your visit.

NOTE: The current pictures do not depict the actual lake levels during the summer. If you view the Gazebo picture from the water, the dock will come up the concrete ramp up to the Gazebo. The water levels for boat access are mid April to mid October. Pictures will be updated once the season arrives.

The drive to Dream Point is all paved road access and consists of a circular concrete driveway and ample parking for six vehicles. You will be greeted by lush landscaping, towering trees, and beautiful views of Lake Blue Ridge!

You will enter the home, greeted by an open floor plan, lake view, lovely decor and inviting art to set the tone for your stay. The foyer is large with a bench seating, broom closet, dresser and plenty of room to set your bags while you explore your new home away from home.

The large living room is centered with vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, large screen TV and sectional sofa offering a wonderful relaxing escape.

The large gourmet kitchen is to the left of the living room with two ovens, gas range, stainless steel appliances including: dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. You have two coffee options with a combination drip maker/Keurig and complimentary coffee is provided for your stay. There is a center island, ample counter space and disposal. Plenty of room is provided with a separate pantry area to the back of the kitchen to house everything you need for those large family gatherings. 

The dining table has seating for eight and is to the back of the kitchen offering wonderful views of the lake, and direct access to the deck/outdoor dining table. Three additional bar seats are also available.

The large deck is accessible directly from the living room and has outdoor seating, wood burning fireplace, hot tub, and dining table for eight. It provides amazing views of the lake and gazebo and large open flat yard.

The main floor has a full bath shared with the king bedroom to the left upon entrance. The bathroom has a single vanity with a walk-in shower.

The master bedroom is to the right with a king bed, access to the main deck and hot tub, seating, dresser and large private bathroom with double vanities and stone/tile walk-in shower.

The laundry room is just off the living room to the right of the master bedroom. It has a full size washer and dryer and starter supply of laundry detergent.

Venture downstairs to the wet bar, bar top table, and game room offerings of air hockey and foosball. There is an additional living area with a gas fireplace, and large screen TV. You can also enjoy a nice game of outdoor ping pong on the patio area or relax in the two comfortable chairs provided in the alcove.

There are three additional bedrooms on the lower level. Two king bedrooms to the left with a shared center bathroom featuring double vanities and tub/shower combo. The third bed room has two separate areas: upon your initial entrance there are two twin beds and then a separate room inside with a very private king bedroom. It has a private bathroom with a single vanity, water closet and walk-in shower.

Plenty of water toys are provided for your stay. These include a large three person canoe, two paddle boards and two kayaks. Paddles are provided for each. Flotation devices are also provided with various sizes to meet all needs. All of these are in the storage closet just off the outside patio and access is granted during your stay. Please remember to not leave any canoe or kayak right side up outside. If they fill with rain, it can cause permanent damage.

A favorite part of the property is a gazebo just off the dock area. You will have seating for four as well as dock access from this area. The dock is available for you to bring your own boat or rent one from our local providers. Please make sure to follow all safety guidelines for operation and to comply with Georgia laws. The Blue Ridge Marina is just a few minutes away by boat and offers a restaurant and wonderful panoramic views.

The property also has a large full house generator for any unexpected power outages eliminating disruptions during your stay. Dream Point is an amazing property and is sure to create wonderful memories and make your vacation dreams come true!

Cancellation Policy:

● To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking and it must be at least 14 days prior to arrival. The refund will be for all nights minus any service processing fees.

● If guests cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund for all nights minus any service processing fees.

● If guests cancel after that, you’ll not receive any refund 

Guest Access:

You will receive a door code one day prior to arrival. Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the owner's closet off the main master bedroom.

Pets:

Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. The number of dogs is limited to two and each must be under 50 lbs. The owners respectfully request you crate your dog while away and to keep them off the beds and furniture.

Trash and Litter:

Trash pickup service is provided on Thursday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trashcans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:

Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.
