In our well-equipped kitchen, you'll find a comprehensive array of cookware, utensils, and plates, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. Explore the nearby gems such as the Reynolds House Museum of American Art, the Old Salem Museum, Salem Lake, and Home Moravian Church.

General Rules
- Back Patio Off-Limits: The back patio is strictly prohibited due to its dangerous elevation and steep stairs.
- Elevator Use: The elevator is locked and should not be attempted for use.
- Downstairs Unavailable: The downstairs area is unused and uninhabited. Your booked accommodations are private and located upstairs.
- Noise Restrictions: Maintain a quiet atmosphere, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.
- Designated Parking: Park only in designated areas.
- Trash Disposal: Store all trash inside the property to prevent odors and vermin. Dispose of it in communal trash cans, with recycling pickup on Monday mornings and regular trash pickup on Thursday mornings.
- Avoid Clogs: Refrain from flushing items in sinks and toilets to prevent plumbing issues.
- No Extra Guests: Only registered guests are permitted, and additional guests require host approval.
- No Parties, Events, Cats, or Smoking: Strictly prohibited for the comfort and well-being of all occupants.
- Departure Instructions: Strip used beds and linens, leaving them in the hallway or laundry room on the floor before departure.
- Compliance with Rental Agreement: Guests must adhere to all rules outlined in the guest rental agreement.
PET POLICY
At Relax at Thruway Getaway, we recognize the importance of pets as cherished members of many families, we extend a warm welcome to both small and large dogs as esteemed guests in our rental property. In order to guarantee a pleasant and delightful stay for all, we kindly request that you familiarize yourselves with and abide by the following pet policy:
1. Eligibility
- Dogs must be at least one year old.
- All dogs must be house trained and well-behaved.
2. Proof of Vaccination
- Prior to arrival, guests are required to provide proof of age, that their dog is up to date on vaccinations for rabies, flea, and tick prevention.
3. Waste Management
- As responsible pet owners, guests are required to promptly clean up after their dogs.
- Utilize the provided waste disposal bags conveniently located (plastic bags can be found in the drawer closest to the left of the stove) and dispose of the waste by double-bagging it in the bins located on the left side of the house.
- Please be advised that failure to adhere to this clean-up responsibility may lead to additional cleaning fees. Your cooperation in maintaining a clean and enjoyable environment is greatly appreciated.
4. Pet Deposit
- A non-refundable pet deposit of $150 is mandatory at the time of booking.
5. Pet Etiquette
- Please ensure that your dog remains leashed there is no fence around the yard, and winston-salem is a leash law city.
- Do not leave your dog unattended in the rental property unless crated and only for short periods.
- Do not allow on furniture
6. Liability
- Guests are solely responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pet.
- Relax at Thruway Getaway is not liable for any harm or injuries to the pet or any third parties during their stay.
7. Additional Cleaning
- If additional cleaning, deodorizing, or pest control is required due to your pet, the associated costs beyond the cost of the pet deposit and cleaning fee may be charged to you after the cleaning is reported back to have extensive cost affiliated.
8. Violation of Policy

Non-compliance with this pet policy may lead to instant eviction from the property with no refund, and additional charges for damages or cleaning may apply. Your cooperation is valued in maintaining a delightful stay for all guests. By confirming your reservation at our property with your pet, you acknowledge and commit to following these pet policies.
