Enchanted Deer
Located in Coosawattee resort, this beautiful farmhouse cabin provides an amazing private location to enjoy your mountain getaway! All of the amenities offered by Coosawattee are included in your stay. With three large bedrooms, three bathrooms, ample living space, large kitchen/dining area, porches, fire pit and hot tub, it is sure to please all members of your family. Large flat screen TV’s in each living area, beautiful stone electric fireplace, outdoor living space and deer everywhere!
Space:
Welcome to Coosawattee Resort! The drive into the resort is sure to feature the favorite resident… Bambi! Please be careful and give the right away to our cute little friends!
Coosawattee River Resort features a plethora of amenities for the family to enjoy. It includes an indoor and outdoor pool, recreation center (tennis, basketball, pickleball, arcade games, pool table, 18 hole miniature golf course and play area). In addition, the resort has several parks for picnics, and fishing. Fishing Pond Park does not require a fishing license. However, a license is required to fish the river. You can also go tubing. Bring your own or rent from a tubing company outside the resort.
All resort amenities are included with your stay. There are two passes, each good for four guests at the property. They will be in a designated area in the home, hung by lanyards. These need to be replaced before your departure. There is a $59 replacement fee for lost or taken passes.
Your drive to the cabin is fully paved roads until you turn onto the short access gravel road. The driveway is concrete and it has plenty of parking for three vehicles.
Enchanted Deer is a charming cabin and spacious for the entire family.. Access to the cabin is from the bottom floor into the living room featuring a stone electric fireplace, large flat smart TV, comfortable seating and multiple windows to bring in the natural light.
The bottom floor is very open, with a separate dining area for six, has a separate four seat high top table, and fully appointed kitchen featuring Nespresso coffee machine.
The first of the three bedrooms is on this level, featuring a full bed and has a separate bathroom just down the hall.
There is a small covered porch, with charcoal grill, dining table and additional seating outside the kitchen. The fire pit area is directly off the living room, has adirondack chairs and string lights to enjoy the beautiful mountain evenings!
The upper level has an open loft with a couch, large screen smart TV, arcade game, and kids table for games, puzzles and drawing. The couch is a pull out sofa and can accommodate 2 additional people for a total of 8 if needed.
The master king suite is located to your left as you go up the stairs. It has a full size bathroom, smart TV and seating area.
The remaining queen bedroom is to your right as you go up the stairs, at the end of the hallway. There is a full size bathroom just outside the bedroom door.
A full size washer and dryer is located in the hall off the loft.
A great feature of this home is the covered porch, five person hot tub and outdoor dining table outside the loft area. There is also a small yard off the porch for children to play and explore the woods behind the home.
The property does have a security ring camera at the front door. There are not other cameras on the property or in private spaces.

Cancellation Policy:
● To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking and it must be at least 14 days prior to arrival. The refund will be for all nights minus any service processing fees.
● If guests cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund for all nights minus any service processing fees.
● If guests cancel after that, you’ll not receive any refund
Guest Access:
The property is located in the very desired Coosawattee Resort. Gate access will be granted for the day of arrival through your departure and passes will be provided for free access to all the resort amenities. The door code will be provided one day prior to arrival and is not active until your check-in time.
Neighborhood Overview:
Coosawattee is a gated community featuring an indoor and outdoor pool, recreation center (arcade games, pool table, fitness center, tennis, pickleball, basketball, 18 hole miniature golf course) and several parks. There is also Fishing Pond Park available for fishing for all ages and a fishing license is NOT required. However, fishing on the Coosawattee River does require a fishing license.
Getting Around:
Coosawattee Resort requires gate access to enter. You will be provided the information to obtain entrance prior to arrival. The roads are paved access with some property access via well maintained gravel roads. The property is home to thousands of deer and you will need to obey the posted speed limits for their safety and yours. Bambi’s mama would not be very happy if you go speeding by!
Coosawattee River Resort is conveniently located close to attractions, restaurants, shopping, parks, waterfalls, wineries, breweries and of course the famous apple orchards.

Privacy:
Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owners privacy and comply with private property signs.
Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Tuesday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the two trash cans provided. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash.
Also, if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tub, fire pits and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen guests.
